Description: The light blue to purple pea-like flowers of Lupines attract Bees, Butterflies and hummingbirds. Their attractive foliage and showy flowers have made them a long time favorite of gardeners. Lupines have great presence in a big landscape with their larger size and full form but also work well in smaller spaces as they spread only by seed. This is a versatile wildflower that grows well under trees and in open sunny spaces.

Found in Nature: Dry open meadows, ditches and shady hillsides.
