Description: Variable shrub 1-3m tall. This is an aggressive grower and will sucker to form groves. It is a great candidate for mass planting as the bright silvery leaves contrast against other plantings. Small yellow flowers bloom in late spring and are highly fragrant with a vanilla-like scent. Fruit is a oval silver berry that persist through winter and attract wildlife. The silver grey bark stands out in winter.

Notes: Very adaptable to most conditions but is very aggressive. It will take over if not contained and is difficult to contain. It might stop at the street, but we wouldn't guarantee it. Nitrogen fixer.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
