Description: Much branched tall shrub up to 6m, although there is variability among the species. Small white flowers in clusters in early spring prior to leaves. Sweet dark purple fruit. Dark green leaves in summer, fall colour orange to red. Great for screening, drought-tolerant.

Notes: Saskatoons are susceptible to disease if planted in shade or a spot with not enough air movement. Performs best in open, sunny areas. Do not overwater.
