Description: Dark green furrowed leaf, small, attractive persistent catkins. Smooth, attractive grey bark. Small footprint and upright form. Great for screening or shade. Can take extra moisture if present but not a requirement for success.

Found in Nature: Found along rivers and streams throughout Alberta.

Distribution: Seed sourced near Cochrane.
