Description: This single stemmed tree grows up to 10m tall. The younger branches show a deep bronze colour while the older wood turns white. Small fine-textured leaves give a mottled shade. With catkins that are desired by our winter birds, and a bright yellow fall colour, this is a wonderful four-season plant.

Found in Nature: Found in Foothills and Aspen parkland.

Distribution: Seed sourced around Exshaw/Canmore region.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
