Description: Flexible grey stems on younger wood. Blue green needles in bundles of 5. Cones mature in September, covered in pitch. 7m tall, 6m wide when mature.

Found in Nature: Tend to be found on south-facing, rocky slopes of upper foothills.

Distribution: Seed sourced near Canmore.

Notes: Long lived specimens, stands have lived for over 500 years.
