Description: A versatile wildflower that does well in open or sheltered areas. Found in moist wooded forests or open meadows, this wildflower forms clumps of purple flowers in mid to late summer that are great for bringing in butterflies and bees. A good choice in hard to grow shaded areas, this wildflower will fit well into the urban woodland garden.

Found in Nature: Moist open or wooded habitats

Distribution: Along the Rocky Mountains in Canada and U.S.
