Description: White nickel-sized flowers appear in mid-summer on full spikes. This drought tolerant Aster likes it hot and dry which makes it a good choice for exposed hot gardens that get little attention or extra water and great for naturalized low maintenance spaces. Its abundance of white flowers (sometimes pink or blue) in mid to late summer that are great for bringing in bees and butterflies.

Found in Nature: Dry prairie and hillsides, streambanks, lake edges
