Description: Smooth greenish bark on new wood, becomes white and furrowed as they age. Small round leaves on long stems that wave in the slightest breeze (thus 'Trembling Aspen'). Grove forming. Bright yellow fall colour.

Found in Nature: Common throughout the foothills and Aspen parkland.

Distribution: Seed sourced from west side of Calgary.
