Description: Deep burgundy and yellow flowers rise up and bow over full lush foliage. Water Avens grows in boggy soils and can be planted at the edge of a pond or creek. With large leaves, a full form and unique flowers, Water Avens makes a great selection for any wet spot, shady or sunny.

Found in Nature: Heavily shaded wet sites, along creeks and streams and in sunny wet meadows or boggy spots.

Distribution: Foothills, Montane to Sub-alpine, Boreal Forests, Cypress Hills
