Description: This is a large plant with great presence and amazing flowers. It is usually found growing in moist wooded areas. Plant it with White Geraniums, Canada Violets and Western Meadowrue to create a naturalized shaded planting with beautiful flowers and great fall color. This is a moisture lover and should be planted where it has room to spread out.

Found in Nature: Moist open woods, shady embankments, thickets, banks and low moist grasslands.

Distribution: Foothills, Rocky Mountains
