Description: This beautiful wildflower has long-lasting appeal and attracts Butterflies. Creamy white buds open and eventually turn to burnt pink as the plant goes into seed then brilliant red fall foliage extends the colorful display. This plant needs winter snow-cover in the Chinook Zone. Plant in a rock garden, sunny hillside or a dry rocky site and enjoy.

Found in Nature: Dry, open rocky sites and embankments.

Distribution: Southern Rocky Mountains
