Description: This Goldenrod has great form with several tall narrow flower spikes on red stems and lots of color interest including reddish fall color. Spike Goldenrod is a good choice for smaller spaces where it can be easily controlled by deadheading but is also great in large landscapes where its bright spiky flowers stalks are eye-catching. Bees and Butterflies are very fond of Goldenrod.

Found in Nature: Rocky outcroppings, well-drained slopes and rocky hillsides.

Distribution: Prairie, Parklands, Foothills to Alpine and Southern Boreal Forest.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
