Description: This fleabane has a most vibrant color; it has the fullest form and is the largest of the local fleabanes. Its showy large blooms steal the show in mid-summer with multiple flower heads on tall stems. Attractive to both bees and butterflies, this fleabane makes a great addition to any sunny well drained site. They can be seedy but flowerheads can be dead headed to prevent it from seeding itself around.

Found in Nature: Sunny hillsides, along forest edges and in moist meadows.

Distribution: Southern Rocky Mountains, Foothills

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
