Description: Alumroots have great form, nice foliage, funky flowers and Bees love them. This is one of our favorite species of wildflower for overall appeal! This is a great addition to any sheltered planting or garden with well-drained soil. The fall color is outstanding and Alumroots keep their foliage well into winter. Plant the Round-Leaved Alumroot with the Richardson's Alumroot to enjoy the different colored flowers together.

Found in Nature: Rocky slopes, open wooded sites and moist sunny embankments.

Distribution: Montane, Rocky Mountains
