Description: Pale yellow flowers set against the soft green silky foliage make an attractive combination. This Locoweed is the last to bloom and its soft texture, full form and bright blooms make it a great selection for sunny gardens, especially those that get little attention. Locoweeds attract Butterflies, plant a variety of them to maximize the blooming period of this species.

Found in Nature: Dry, sunny hillsides, rocky slopes, prairie meadows.

Distribution: Prairies, Foothills, Montane

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
