Description: Pretty white blooms in the spring turn into elongated fluffy seed heads that provide interest into the fall. This Anemone works well in flowerbeds as it has nice foliage, good form and does not spread by rhizomes. Long Headed Anemones are also great in naturalized plantings as they are drought tolerant and very hardy.

Found in Nature: Sunny meadows, roadside ditches and dry open wooded sites.

Distribution: Parklands and Prairies
