Description: This alpine wildflower blooms in the spring and provides lots of interest to sunny dry rocky sites or rock gardens. With pretty creamy blooms and lovely silvery foliage that both change in color as the season progresses. Cream turns to pink as the flowers mature into seed heads on coppery stems while the foliage also takes on a pink hue. Try this wildflower in rock gardens or in alpine containers. Plant where there is snow cover in the winter or mulch lightly over the winter in the Chinook zone.

Found in Nature: Dry open sites and rocky slopes at higher elevations.

Distribution: Montane to Sub-Alpine

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
