Description: Blue star-shaped flowers with yellow eyes peek out of the grasses in June. The grass-like foliage is misleading as it is related to the Iris. Plant it in rock gardens, along pathways or in the front of beds for best impact. These delicate flowers are a delight and when it's in seed this plant can only be described as "funky". Blue Eyed Grass is drought-tolerant and extremely resilient.

Found in Nature: Dry exposed ditches and well drained grassy meadows.

Distribution: Prairies, Foothills, Rocky Mountains

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
