Description: This wildflower likes cool shady places and creeps along the forest floor with bright green foliage that can turn hot pink in the fall. The flowers are small and requiring a closer look to fully behold the splendor of the intricate petals. Try it in moist to wet shady places where it can form a ground cover or in shade containers where it can creep over the side and trail down.

Found in Nature: Damp woods, stream-banks, mossy embankments & bogs.

Distribution: Foothills, Montane & Sub-alpine
