Description: Bright sunny blooms are generally solitary on the stem and grow to around 14" tall. This is a drought tolerant wildflower that looks best planted in groups and will spread out from branching rootstock. This is a nice choice for sunny slopes and hot dry gardens. Birds enjoy dinning on sunflower seeds.

Found in Nature: Dry sunny embankments, prairie meadows, ditches.

Distribution: Prairies & Parklands

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
