Description: This dense semi-shrub branches freely to form clumps that creep across the ground and are covered in large showy blooms. Plant this Penstemon in a hot dry site that has good snow cover in the winter. Bees and hummingbirds love Penstemons and so will you.

Found in Nature: Dry gravely slopes and rocky sites.
