Silky Locoweed
Oxytropis sericea |
Description: Creamy white flowers and dusty green foliage make this an attractive perennial for hot dry sites. Blooming early in the season the bright spiky blooms attract attention. A nice full form and good sized gives it substance in the landscape. Plant with the Showy Locoweed as it comes into flower as the Silky Locoweed is waning.
Found in Nature: Dry rocky exposed hillsides, ditches and gravelly sites.
