Description: Reddish purple flowers bloom on hairy stocks above fuzzy silver green leaves from June to August. The contrast of colors and textures make this plant showy along with its attractive form. Very drought tolerant and a great selection for rock gardens, prairie plantings or along driveways and paths.

Found in Nature: Dry open slopes, well drained meadows and ditches.
