Harebell
Campanula rotundifolia |
Description: Delicate in appearance only, this hardy resilient plant produces beautifully blue bell shaped flowers that go on and on through out the summer and into the fall. Its grass like appearance and repeat blooming make it a great transition plant from mow zones to no mow areas or along fences and around buildings you don't want to weed whack. This plant grows well and looks fantastic just about anywhere.
Found in Nature: Everywhere except heavily
shade areas and in soggy soils.
