Showy Fleabane in Bloom

Description: These showy large blooms steal the show in mid summer with multiple flower heads on tall stems. This fleabane has a most vibrant color, the fullest form and is the largest of the local fleabanes. Showy Fleabane is also the last Fleabane to flower, blooming out just as the Asters are coming into their prime.

Found in Nature: Well Drained hillsides, along forest edges and in moist meadows.
