Description: Large flowers in the summer vary greatly in vivid combinations of yellow and orange, attracting butterflies, birds and your attention. Its reddy brown centers give it the common name of Brown Eyed Susan but it is also known as Blanketflower. This wildflower has great presence in a large landscape but is also a great choice in a smaller garden as each plant produces many blooms.
Found in Nature: Dry open meadows, ditches and hillsides. Sometimes found in open coniferous forests.
