Blue Eyed Grass Bloom up close, Blue with yellow eye

Description: Blue star shaped flowers with yellow eyes peek out of the grasses in June. The grass like foliage is misleading as it is related to the Iris. Plant it in rock gardens, along pathways or in the front of beds for best impact. These delicate flowers are a delight and when it's in seed this plant can only be described as "funky". Blue Eye Grass is drought tolerant and extremely resilient.

Found in Nature: Dry exposed ditches and well drained grassy meadows.
