Description: Meadow Blazing Star is a butterfly magnet, they just love this plant. This plant is very showy and tolerant of most soils except heavy clay. It also makes a great specimen plant for a sunny garden as it not aggressive or very seedy. It's also a great choice for a naturalized planting as it has good presence in the landscape and tends to bloom later in the season when other wildflowers are petering out.

Found in Nature: Open sunny meadows and hillsides.
