Black-Eyed Susan
Rudibeckia hirta |
Description: Large showy blooms take over as the Brown-Eyed Susan's are finishing up and lasting into the fall. This plant has a real impact in the landscape due to its size and contrasting colors. Black-Eyed Susan's are short lived perennials that will re-seed themselves around but due to their late flowering season may not have the time to mature their seeds if fall is too cool and short.
