Description: This low evergreen perennial semi-shrub has thick leathery leaves, is mat forming and grows in gravelly soil. It yellow flowers are profuse in early summer and are followed by fuzzy seed heads in the fall. Use as a groundcover, in a rock garden or as transition plant bordering gravely parking areas and pathways.

Found in Nature: Open, gravely sites.
