Description: Deep purple and yellow flowers rise up and bow over full lush foliage. Water Avens grow in soggy soils and can be planted at the edge of a pond or creek. With large leaves, a full form and unique flowers, Water Avens make a great selection for any wet spot.

Found in Nature: Heavily shaded wet sites along creeks and streams and in sunny wet meadows or boggy spots.
